This is a small 20 acre farm at a very high elevation. It is stunningly beautiful. Constantly covered by volcanic clouds, it remains cool by tropical standards. The day I was there the wind was unusually strong and it couldn’t have been much more than 65 degrees. Because of the unique micro-climate and elevation, Miravalle wasn’t quite ready to harvest.

Quote from Jimmy, Jr… “It was always my grandfathers dream to live here.” Jimmy’s grandfather was Jaime’s father. He died a few years ago at the age of 103.
